Who We Are
Lake George Community Fitness
Established in 2011, Lake George Community Fitness is more than a gym; it is a friendly and encouraging community of members achieving their fitness goals. By our gym catering to no one, we cater to everyone. We have members ranging in age from 14 all the way to early-70’s. Our members are high school and college students, working professionals, busy moms and dads, and retirees.
What is Cross Training?
Our programming is based on the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. What we offer is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.
Where Are We?
Lake George Community Fitness is located at 238 Bay Rd. in Queensbury, NY. We have 3 large bay doors on both sides of our building allowing us to have an open-air gym during the spring and summer months. Our facility is over 5,500 square feet with two unisex bathrooms and one shower. We have a huge back parking lot, and the Warren County Bike path is directly behind the lot for when we program running into our workouts.
When it comes to equipment, we have everything necessary for any workout we can dream up. We have dozens of barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, and plyo boxes. Plenty of pull-up bar space, well over a dozen pairs of gymnastic rings, a bunch of concept 2 rowers and assault bikes, and lots of strongman equipment. We have a bunch of toys, and we know how to use them!
